She’s the star of Centre Court today - Maria Sharapova last took the Ladies Single Championship title at Wimbledon in 2004.
Maria has also won the US open in 2006 and the Australian in 2008 - all achieved by the tender age of 21!
Since then she’s had major shoulder surgery and now aged 24 she is ready to retrieve her crown once more.
I watched her in the quarter finals on Monday and she looked amazing.

I watched Andy Roddick warming up last week - he was looking in great shape and sailed through his first round match today.
Of course the other Andy, Mr Murray is the one that all British hopes rest on once again.
